Bodies gather on stage, yet without assigned roles, they do not “perform”. In the veil of soft light, drenched in the sounds of intoxicating modulations – immersed: for a brief moment, removed from the outside world, we watch the sound, listen to the image, embody the event, assemble a being greater than ourselves.

The Nimaš Izbire collective, in co-production with En–Knap Productions, announces the return of Rosišče – Dew Point, a series of intimate events dedicated to listening to exploratory sounds of ambient, experimental and other forms of unconventional electronic music from under the fingers of both domestic and international names, accompanied by atmospheric visual interventions by resident artists, and discourses on their creative practices in the form of artist talks. In past years, we have presented a diverse lineup of artists in collaboration with Projekt Atol at osmo/za. Now, our journey takes us to Španski Borci Cultural Centre, where, supported by En–Knap Productions, we anticipate further condensation with greater intensity than ever before.

En–Knap develops contemporary dance on stage, in film and virtual reality, ultimately, in public space. It expands the field of dance beyond the medium, as well as beyond the choreography and body of dance, both in context, at the intersection with other practices and disciplines. What is the non-dance or post-dance, “social” choreography on stage, beyond the medium, ultimately, in public space? How is one to “put the body on the line” when the focus is not on movement, but on ambience with music, visuals or discourse? This is the intersection with Rosišče – Dew Point, which explores non-dance or post-dance events beyond the club and the rave – immersed: for a brief moment, removed from the outside world, we watch the sound, listen to the image, embody the event, assemble a being greater than ourselves.

For the premiere at the new venue, we invite a legend of the European outsider music scene, ssaliva, a Belgian veteran of strangely hypnotic and drawn-out compositions, whose common denominator in all his diverse work is idiosyncratic melancholy and escapism. From the local ranks, this time we invite producer, vocalist and dj Oka, a member of the musical duo lip rouge, unique for their poetic approach to avant-garde music. The music will be preceded by a talk with visual artist and curator Lara Reichmann, moderated by visual artist and designer Dorijan Šiško.
